Day 1 – From Makadi Bay to the Temples of Ancient Thebes

Day 2 – Valley of the Kings & Journey to Aswan
For an unforgettable start to the day, you may choose an optional sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride over Luxor, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Nile Valley, temples, and desert mountains.
After breakfast, cross to Luxor’s legendary West Bank and explore the famous Valley of the Kings, the royal burial place of the New Kingdom Pharaohs. Day 3 – Discover the Treasures of Aswan & Return to Makadi Bay
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Aswan, a city renowned for its Nubian heritage, tranquil atmosphere, and remarkable monuments.
Your first stop is the enchanting Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and beautifully situated on an island in the Nile. Reach the temple by motorboat and admire its elegant columns, impressive pylons, and fascinating mythology, while learning about the remarkable UNESCO project that relocated the entire complex to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
Continue to the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s greatest engineering achievements, responsible for controlling the Nile floods and creating the vast Lake Nasser. Next, visit the famous Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries, where you will gain fascinating insight into the stone-working techniques of the ancient Egyptians.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, relax aboard a traditional Felucca sailing boat and experience the timeless beauty of the Nile River as you glide past islands, palm groves, and golden desert scenery.
